Prenatal Vinyasa Yoga
Service Description
Specially designed for your pregnant body, this practice will help you prepare for the marathon of labor by building up strength and stamina allowing yourself to find comfort in your body while connecting with your breath and your baby. Following the principles of The Dolphin Method™ Prenatal Vinyasa Yoga, we will move through breathing exercises and flow sequences allowing you to have a vigorous practice moving with your baby and not despite your bump. This practice will help in not only balancing and strengthening the structures around your uterus - your baby’s home for several months - but also your whole body and releasing what needs to be soft and open encouraging your baby to eventually find the optimal position and your body to be strong and open for childbirth. ___ Your Teacher: Selma Lightness, joy, honesty, and passion. These are words that describe Selma and everything she aims to share with her students. In each class, in every movement, in every breath, with careful attention for all students, whether pure fresh or long time yogi. In the end, she hopes that everyone leaves the class happy, renewed, and inspired to build a beautiful and honest relationship with themselves through yoga.
